Breast aesthetics is one of the most important and popular operations in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery. In these operations during which silicon breast prostheses are used in general, the most natural appearance can be gained by choosing the most suitable silicon prosthesis for the body of the woman.
Who can have breast aesthetics?
Patients who need it from the age of 18 or who are not satisfied with the appearance of the breast can have it. Hormonal changes, genetic factors, weight gain or loss, pregnancy, and breastfeeding cause significant volume loss in the breast tissue. If the breasts are not in the desired shape, it may cause psychological problems such as self-embarrassment, lack of self-confidence, difficulty in choosing clothes, and even depression.
Breast aesthetics;

Having inadequate breast development
Having lost one or both breasts due to cancer can be done by anyone who has experienced one or more of such conditions.
What is breast augmentation surgery?
Breast augmentation surgery is an operation performed to obtain proportional body measurements by enlarging the breasts in smaller volume than desired using implants or fat injection. Breast augmentation operation makes the breast look fuller and raised with implants and breast tissues placed under the breast. It's largely a non-hazardous operation.
Breast augmentation operation is usually performed by plastic surgeons under general anesthesia under operating room conditions and takes about one and a half hours.You may have mild pain, which is easily controlled with simple painkillers. If you have an implant placed under your muscle, you may have mild ache when you move your arms.
What is breast reduction surgery?
It is an operation performed to reduce the existing volume of the breast and bring it to the ideal form targeted for aesthetic and health reasons. It is applied to resolve undesired conditions caused by overly large breasts, including back, neck and shoulder pain, poor posture, difficulty in breathing, depression on shoulders due to bra straps, loss of strength and numbness in hands due to compression of arm and hand nerves in shoulders, rash, eczema or fungal infections that may appear under the breasts, restricted physical activities. All these conditions cause not only physical but also psychological and social problems in women.
Breast reduction operations aim to reduce the size of breasts while reshaping them as proportional to the body. In these operations, it is also possible to lift the breasts. Since mammary glands are not extracted in breast reduction operations, it does not affect breastfeeding that may occur in the following years.
What is breast lift surgery?
Breast lift surgery (mastopexy) is performed to correct sagging, although there is no major problem with breast volume. During the surgery, excess breast skin is removed and the breast tissue is reshaped; the nipple is brought to the ideal position and the dark colored area (areola) around the nipple is reduced. Thus, the breast is given a new uplifted form. Due to gravity and aging, breasts lose their volume and sag. Breast lift aesthetics are applied to make these breasts upright and shaped again.
Breast lift operations can be performed for the reduction of big and sagging breasts as well as augmentation of hollow and sagging breasts after birth, breastfeeding, or weight loss. Breast lift surgery is performed using techniques and principles similar to those of breast reduction surgery. It involves only the changes applied to the shape of the breast without reducing the breast tissue.
